Overrated coffee at Cafe A Brasileira, overrated chocolate croissants at Benard, 8 hours at Cascais walking around the beach that included watching a kickass band play at night and having spicy piri piri chicken for dinner, took the train and reached our Alfama home at 12 a.m., and walked to the buzzing neighbourhood to get some Ginjinha shots while people gathered to celebrate.
I think if there’s one thing I’ll miss in Portugal the most, it will be the people. Not the food, but the people.
